Julie Connolly Alterations has been trading in the Swadlincote area since 1999 but has over 30 years of experience. I originally trained in London as a theatrical costumier and worked on shows such as Phantom Of The Opera, Sunset Boulevard and at the The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, as well as making costumes for touring theatre companies too. I have a wealth of knowledge on garment construction (and in turn, deconstruction!) A move back to the Midlands resulted in me working as a tailor at Emily Brigdens for a number of years, dealing with all aspects of ladies clothing alterations.
